Youth in Tanzania have the greatest potential to solve their communities and the country’s biggest challenges.
Yet, most young people in Tanzania lack the opportunities to actualize their potential, create a positive impact and become changemakers.
Barriers for Youth:

Rote education system and lack of quality education

Corporal punishment is used in the majority of schools and households

Limited to no mentorship and career guidance

Lack of critical learning opportunities such as critical thinking, project-based learning, and social-emotional learning
