Geoff Knight
Geoff is a youth advocate, father, fundraiser, and musician who can play 4+ instruments. Geoff has 20+ years of experience educating and empowering youth and communities. He holds a Bachelor's of Arts in Anthropologu from University of Kansas and is an Instructional Coach. He currently serves as the Director of Development of SCAN Harbor in NYC and as the Director of Organizational Learning at the Instructional Coaching Group.

Angella Kisanga
Angella Kisanga graduated from The University of Manchester in the United Kingdom with an MSc. in Environmental Monitoring, Modeling and Reconstruction. She has over ten years of experience in wildlife conservation, environmental conservation, community development, and defenders of girls' rights. She believes that, given the right opportunities, every child has the potential to excel in their personal and professional goals. Angella is an educational leadership consultant for the Fursa Camp, where she acts as the lead facilitator and program coordinator.

Lucas Mwanyika
Lucas manages all maintenance for all buildings, and manages our plumbing, electricity, and larger property. He is the caretaker of the trees, provider of firewood, and builder for the Eco-Farm.

Kasta Deule
Kasta has a lifetime of experience farming and gardening, and joined ECT as our Gardener in early 2021. She makes sure we eat all of our greens!

Zamda Mwinyimvua
Zamda has lived at the Eco-Farm here in Uwemba for more than 14 years, as the chief caretaker and farm manager. She manages all three houses and the property in general. She also runs our honey making business. When you come to visit, you will be lucky to have some of Zamda's famous banana bread, creme brûlée, and maybe even some of her special ZaZa hot sauce.

Janeth Mwonge
Janeth is a young entrepreneur and mother of two on the road to opening her own restaurant. During the leadership camps, Janeth serves as our Chef - cooking all of the delicious food for our students and staff. She also teaches sewing to the students. Don't miss out on Janeth's amazing chapati and homemade pizza!

Sara Swett
Sara comes from over ten years of experience working, living, and studying in Tanzania. She has spent the last seven years implementing fundraising strategies and managing complex, overlapping revenue-generating projects in various international and African nonprofits. Sara serves on the Board of Directors and provides support in grant writing, communications, teacher training, and facilitation at leadership camps.

Imani Hendrick
Imani is an admirable digital content creator, and renowned female TV and radio presenter who holds an impressive academic background with a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Dar Salaam. Notably, she stands as the sole African recipient of the prestigious Youth Peace Challenge Award (YPC), a distinction presented by the Korean Government. She is the Managing Director of Kings FM Njombe. She has received many opportunities and awards fro journalism throughout her career, sending her to Germany, the UK, South Africa, Rwanda, and China. Her career has been profoundly shaped by her enduring devotion to digital rights advocacy - and she runs the #1 podcast in Tanzania called Dig It with Imani. Imani serves on the Board of Directors of Every Child Tanzania and supports by inspiring students, providing digital rights sessions, and internships for students.

Terry Swett
Terry has been an educator for more than 40 years, working as a teacher, administrator, adult educator, vocational educator, and teacher trainer. Terry provides training for teachers, and supported the curriculum development for the leadership camps.

Ezra Mhegele
Ezra has a degree in Education and Economics. He has worked in finance and accounting at various nonprofits and companies. Ezra is our Board of Directors Treasurer, providing essential assistance in our yearly audits. He developed the financial and computer literacy curriculum for the leadership camps.

Ngojea Kitinusa
Ngojea is an educator, energetic, empathetic and proactive leader who focuses on transforming education through innovation and leadership in Tanzania. Ngojea holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Education. He is the co-founder and Board Chair of Every Child Tanzania (ECT), where he focuses heavily on partnership building, fundraising, program design, and strategic planning. Ngojea has supported more than 5,000 students in his career as he worked in multiple organizations and public schools to teach and empower students to achieve their education goals. Ngojea was nominated Founder of the Year (FOYA) 2023 and Tanzania Emerging Leaders as the Edupreneur and promising Founder of the Year. He won the 2023 Young CEO Award in Education for Tanzania. He is a 2022 Mandela Washington Alumni. He is also a Compassion Integrity Training Africa Alumnus. Ngojea is a stellar athlete and musician.

Akida Mdalingwa
Akida Mdalingwa holds a B.A. in Education from the University of Dar es Salaam. As the Co-Founder and Executive Director of Every Child Tanzania, he holds his residence with his family at the Eco-Farm, where he manages our programs and our sustainable projects. Akida has 18 years of experience in social work and supporting youth leadership. Growing up in a rural village in Tanzania, as the first child of 7 in a polygamist family, left him with limited mentorship and education opportunities. His mother and being able to excel through adversity have inspired him to give back to the community he comes from by unlocking the potential of children and youth who are deprived of opportunities. He provides love, advocacy, mentorship, safety, exposure and networks to those in need. Akida is very passionate about community involvement and making positive impacts, however small! Akida is great story teller and a YALI RLC EA Fellow.

Jenny Peck
Jenny first came to Tanzania with Peace Corps as a math teacher in rural Mufindi, Tanzania. Inspired, she co-founded Mufindi Orphans Inc. and ran Foxes NGO for more than 10 years. She is passionate about supporting vulnerable youth and families in Tanzania. She has an MPH and is the Director of Development at Amref US. She serves as the President of Mufindi Orphans (fiscal sponsor and strategic partner of ECT) and as a Board Member of ECT. She provides extensive support in fundraising, communications, and program design. Violinist and mother to four, she is also a certified yoga instructor.
