Teacher Training
Our teacher training is focused on new university graduates, who are interested in building their skills, gaining practical teaching experience, and demonstrating leadership potential. We hope to cultivate the next generation of youth leaders and teacher leaders in order to support communities and improve the education system throughout Tanzania. Our current program to date includes workshops at universities, the training of ten teacher leaders who led our leadership camps, and virtual trainings with expert teacher trainers in the US. Teachers gained new skills in teaching; a better understanding of students’ social-emotional health; project-based learning methodology; understanding of creating safe learning environments for ALL students.
